Brian Hall

Prior to co-founding blueSky Marketing Group in 2004, Brian was EVP and co-founder of 1-800-Bar None, the nation’s largest sub-prime automotive lead generator that was eventually sold to The First American Corporation (NYSE:FAF). Prior to Bar None, Hall worked for American Bankers Acceptance Corporation, one of the nation’s original independent sub-prime auto finance companies.

Brian has over 25 years of successful automotive experience including direct response television marketing, pre-screen marketing services, online lead generation including SEO, SEM & PPC strategies, data hygiene, product development and retail automotive sales. Brian has been the significant leader in managing the company’s operations, product development and strategic partnerships. Under his unique counsel and guidance, blueSky has become a respected industry leader in delivering high quality auto leads integrated with award-winning sales conversion technologies which have maximized dealer sales across the country.

Mel Waldorf

VP Systems Architect
Mel is a founding partner of blueSky. He brings a wide range of knowledge to the company – with degrees in geological sciences (Brown University, ScB. 1993) and artificial intelligence (McGill University, MS. 2000), his experience spans from the dawn of time to the cutting edge of technology. With nearly fifteen years in the financial technology industry, he’s developed algorithms to streamline business processes and apply predictive analysis to enhance quality and profitability. Prior to co- founding blueSky, he worked at Fair, Isaac and BarNone. Something of a renaissance man, he also plays in a band and has composed music for television and movies.

Charlie Crowder

VP Marketing
Charlie is a founding partner of blueSky and was responsible for building and now oversees the company’s lead generation division along with strategic and affiliate partnerships. Charlie has over 18 years of hands-on experience in web development, lead generation, affiliate marketing, product design and project management. Prior to blueSky, Charlie served as Marketing Director for Bar None where he helped build the business from the ground up, utilizing his multi-channel creative and marketing talents in television, direct response and online mediums. While not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, coaching, playing sports and being outdoors.

Charlie holds a Bachelors Degree from University of Oregon. He was also recognized as a certified Google AdWords Professional and has completed the Master’s Certification for Online Marketing from the University of San Francisco.

Sherry A. Morse

CFO and Corporate Secretary/Treasurer
Sherry brings more than 30 years of experience as a financial professional including audit, treasury, financial management, financial reporting, tax and compliance functions in order to support strategically-focused decision making within organizations.  As a key member of blueSky management, she has primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities by insuring proper focus on accounting, internal controls, cash planning and staff management.  Previously, she served as Financial Officer of companies in both the insurance and legal professions and started her career as an Auditor with Deloitte, one of the “Big Four” CPA firms.

Sherry has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Accounting Option from Cal State University, Hayward.  She has a CA Life and Disability Insurance License (Inactive), is a Past National VP of the Institute of Management Accountants, Past President of Soroptimist International and served on the board of Pleasanton Partnerships in Education for over 10 years. Her favorite past time is being with her family!

Paul Hunter

Director of Business Development
After serving an early corporate life in the automotive industry where he learned the basics of Sales Management, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Paul decided to become a business owner and entrepreneur in 1990 and has never regretted the decision. In the early 90s, Paul was Owner and Managing Partner of a multi-franchise import automobile dealership in New Jersey that ranked seventh of dealers nationally.

In 2001, Paul was recruited by 1-800-Bar None, an industry leader in the specialty finance lead generation sector to manage the east coast region.

In 2004 Paul became  a founding partner of blueSky and was recently promoted to  Director of Business Development.  Paul was instrumental in building out the national sales team and, to this day, continues to contribute a significant percentage of the sales volume monthly from a regional and national client base built over 30 years of consulting with automotive dealers.

Paul has been married for 37 years to Peg. They have five adult children and six grandchildren with the likelihood of more to come.
